media player full screen

Media Player Full Screen

I've noticed that whenever Media Player switches to fullscreen mode, desktop compositing gets turned off automatically (usually taking a couple of seconds while it switches), and then switching back when I leave full screen. I don't see a reason for this, especially since I often dual screen with one screen where I chat/browse and one showing a fullscreen video, and the RAM usage never gets too high that it can't handle it. And desktop compositing remains on when the video isn't full screened. I have 1gig ram, Ati Radeon 9700 Pro and an Athlon XP 2200+.
Is there a way to disable this?

Glass has detected a potential problem and disabled itself to avoid a bad visual experience for the user. By all means report the bug and use the recorder in the MBC to capture the effect. If you do not have the MBC installed, you may get it here: http://windowsbeta.microsoft.com/vista/bugs.aspx?&build=0&sku=0
